Others I have featured include Bear Grylls, Usain Bolt, J\u00fcrgen Klopp and Zach Johnson. Today I would like to highlight another, someone of whom to be honest, I had not heard because I do not follow American Football- Tim Tebow. Tim gave the brilliant interview featured today and also began the phenomena now named after him &#8211; \u201cTebowing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Here is an explanation taken from extracts from Wikipedia:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Timothy Richard Tebow<\/strong> (born August 14, 1987) is a former professional <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/American_football\">American football<\/a> player, playing quarterback. He played <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/College_football\">college football<\/a> for the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/University_of_Florida\">University of Florida<\/a>, winning the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Heisman_Trophy\">Heisman Trophy<\/a> in 2007 and appearing on <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/BCS_National_Championship\">BCS National Championship<\/a>-winning teams during the 2006 and 2008 seasons. Tebow was selected by the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Denver_Broncos\">Denver Broncos<\/a> in the first round of the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2010_NFL_Draft\">2010 NFL Draft<\/a> and spent two seasons with the team. He also played for the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/New_York_Jets\">New York Jets<\/a> in 2012. Additionally, he had preseason stints with the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/New_England_Patriots\">New England Patriots<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Philadelphia_Eagles\">Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> in 2013 and 2015 respectively<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTebowing\u201d is a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Neologism\">neologism<\/a> for the act of kneeling on one knee in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Prayer\">prayer<\/a> specifically with one&#8217;s head bowed and an arm resting on the one bent knee, when kneeling, a form of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Genuflecting\">genuflecting<\/a>. It is derived from Tebow&#8217;s propensity for kneeling and praying. The origin of the phrase is credited to fan Jared Kleinstein, who posted a picture with friends on <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Facebook\">Facebook<\/a>, in which they mimicked a pose of Tebow following the Broncos&#8217; comeback overtime victory over the Dolphins on October 23, 2011. The popularity of the picture led Kleinstein to set up a website showing pictures submitted by people depicting various interpretations of <em>Tebowing<\/em> all over the world. After two-and-a-half months, the site received 20,000 photograph submissions and 20 million page views from 2 million unique visitors. <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_New_York_Times\"><em>The New York Times<\/em><\/a> wrote &#8220;it can be hard to tell whether [people tebowing] are celebrating or mocking [Tebow] for his virtuous ways.&#8221; Pittsburgh mayor <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Luke_Ravenstahl\">Luke Ravenstahl<\/a> \u201ctebowed\u201d as part of a bet with the mayor of Denver following the Broncos playoff victory over the Steelers in 2012. On October 9, 2012, Tebow was awarded the trademark to <em>Tebowing<\/em> after winning a legal battle with two fans who had expressed interest in trademarking the name.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2011, the life-sized wall graphics company <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fathead_(brand)\">Fathead<\/a> released a &#8220;Tebowing&#8221; sticker that became the company&#8217;s best-selling product in two days.<\/p>\n<p>Tebowing was included as a feature in the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Madden_NFL_13\"><em>Madden NFL 13<\/em><\/a> video game<\/p>\n<p>I am not what you think of kneeling to pray before, during or after a game or of crossing oneself or looking up to heaven after, for example scoring a goal, however please watch today\u2019s featured video clip.
