I wrote a blog about Jack in celebration of his 90th birthday back in June,2021 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.risen.org.uk\/?p=2322\">http:\/\/www.risen.org.uk\/?p=2322<\/a><br \/>\nDriving up there were problems on the M40 and A43 with many diversions \u2013 I knew I was going to be late when I was diverted to \u201cHinton in the Hedges.\u201d Now I had heard of places called \u201con the water\u201d \u201con the moor\u201d or \u201cin the marsh\u201d but \u201cin the hedges\u201d that had to be a first.<br \/>\nAnyway, I eventually got to my bros. Now our dad had been a gymnast and had taught Jack how to swing \u201cIndian clubs.\u201d Dad had not, however taught me (very wise was dad) but sometime previously Jack had kindly acquired two clubs in order for me to carry on the club swinging tradition. I found it totally impossible \u2013 more difficult than I could have ever imagined and much more difficult than a hole in one in golf!<br \/>\nAnyway, just out of interest I wanted to see if Jack still had the skill and so I took a video of him<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 480px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-2511-1\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/risen.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_1305.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/risen.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_1305.mp4\">https:\/\/risen.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_1305.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>I hope you agree his performance is fantastic, however not quite as good as his performance some fourteen years ago when he \u201cclub swung\u201d to the whole of Village People\u2019s YMCA at our mum\u2019s 100 birthday party.
