So just to continue from last week – the focus of Mustard Seed Songs has recently been our work in progress \u201cTheophilus- The Musical\u201d and its spin off \u201cA Journey of Faith\u201d.
\nHowever, our second musical – Risen! The Musical is back! In May 2024 we have 5 performances booked at Titchfield Festival Theatre\u2019s, Arden Theatre\u2013 a brand new auditorium holding approx. 450.
\nThe Director and Choreographer is Jody Brown with Harry Wells, the Musical Director.
\nLast week I shared with you the promo and today it is the letter of invitation that is going to potential performers- so if you fancy \u201ctreading the boards\u201d please read the below and get in touch!<\/p>\n

Hello,
\nIt is my pleasure to invite you to the Show Launch of \u201cRisen! The Musical\u201d at Holy Rood Church Centre, Stubbington PO14 2AS on Thursday, December 14th at 7.00 pm.
\nRisen! The Musical is an original \u201csung through musical\u201d produced by the charity Mustard Seed Songs and will be performed at the new Arden Theatre of Titchfield Festival Theatre PO14 4BG, from Wednesday, May, 1st to Saturday, May 4th.
\nThe Director and Choreographer is Jody Brown and Musical Director, Harry Wells.
\nAuditions will take place during the first week of January 2024. Rehearsals will immediately follow twice weekly in Stubbington and\/or Portsmouth.
\nThe \u201cRisen! The Musical\u201d storyline begins just before Palm Sunday and, unlike Jesus Christ Superstar and Godspell, finishes not on Good Friday or Easter Sunday, but 40 days later. We believe this production to be unique and attractive to people of all ages and persuasions.
\nAn earlier production was filmed at Portsmouth\u2019s New Theatre Royal and featured \u201cThe London Touring Cast\u201d – alumni and students from the London College of Music, Ealing, London. The Arden Theatre production will be similar, but not identical to the filmed version with, for example the cast not necessarily required to dance.
