Have you noticed how fairly ordinary terms are now being “jazzed up” into things humorously pretentious? Yesterday I laughed when told that the receptionist at my doctor’s surgery was now a “care navigator.” However my favourite is “water transfer solutions” which is a hosepipe manufacturer!
